NYSFA was founded by Jimmy Woo, an internationally recognized fashion designer and graduate of Politecnico di Milano, with over 20 years of experience in the global fashion industry. He has received multiple international design awards and has worked across China, the United States, and Europe.

Through his experience, Jimmy saw the need for a new kind of creative education—one that bridges East and West, tradition and technology, and empowers students to become confident global creators. NYSFA was founded on that vision: a platform where students grow through practice, find their unique voice, and make an impact in the world.
