Charlie Zhu (祝爱民教授) is a professor and art enthusiast with a diverse range of experiences in various artistic fields. Professor Charlie Zhu previously taught in the Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Campus in China. Currently, he serves as the chairman of the Global International Film Festival in San Francisco, USA.
During the 1990s, Charlie Zhu embarked on a journey to explore art museums and galleries around the world. This experience ignited his passion for classical oil paintings and European and American sculptures, leading him to focus on collecting, researching, and restoring these art pieces.
Charlie Zhu graduated from the Department of Arts and Crafts Design at China's Nanjing Art Institute. While studying there, he participated in national art exhibitions and scientific popularization art exhibitions, where he received recognition for his work. He earned third prize and outstanding awards for his artistic achievements.
As an artist with a wide range of interdisciplinary skills, Charlie Zhu possesses rich experience in painting, film and television, photography, fashion design, and exhibition presentation. His versatility and passion for art have shaped him into a well-rounded and accomplished individual in the artistic world.
