Course Details
- Duration: 2 weeks of intensive training and immersion.

- Days: Classes held Monday to Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays reserved for free activities.
- Requirements: Applicants must possess a background in fashion, art, cinematography, or related fields. A portfolio or samples of previous work are required. Successful applicants will undergo an interview process to ensure a perfect fit for the course.

Nicola López is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans drawing, printmaking, site-specific installation, sculpture, and video. Her art critically examines and reimagines the contemporary human-built landscape, emphasizing the role of architecture and urban structures as tangible evidence of our aspirations and failures. By drawing from anthropology, architecture, urban planning, and explorations of utopia/dystopia, López highlights the profound connections between our constructed world and the natural systems and cycles of nature.
Nicola López
Adama Delphine Fawundeu
Director of Graduate Studies, Columbia University School of Arts
Adama Delphine Fawundu is a visual artist hailing from Brooklyn, NY, with roots in Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea, West Africa. She co-authored and edited the highly acclaimed book MFON: Women Photographers of the African Diaspora, which showcases the works of over 100 women photographers of African descent worldwide. Fawundu's contributions were also featured in the critically acclaimed Netflix documentary film, In Our Mother's Garden. Recognized for her talent, she has received prestigious awards including the Rema Hort Mann Artist Grant and the New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship, among others. Fawundu holds an MFA from Columbia University. Her artistic endeavors include public installations at notable locations such as Prospect Park in Brooklyn and Federal Hall in New York City.
Charlie Zhu

Charlie Zhu (祝爱民教授) is a professor and art enthusiast with a diverse range of experiences in various artistic fields. Professor Charlie Zhu previously taught in the Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai Campus in China. Currently, he serves as the chairman of the Global International Film Festival in San Francisco.
As an artist with a wide range of interdisciplinary skills, Charlie Zhu possesses rich experience in painting, film and television, photography, fashion design, and exhibition presentation. His versatility and passion for art have shaped him into a well-rounded and accomplished individual in the artistic world.
Rudy Bundini
Award winning Model
Rudy Bundini is a multi-talented American who has left an indelible mark in several domains. Not only has he achieved recognition as Male Model of the Year by the International Modeling and Talent Association, but he has also showcased his skills as an actor, luxury realtor, and former heavyweight boxing champion. His modeling career has seen him grace the runways and represent esteemed brands like Nike, Armani, Versace, Calvin Klein, and Philipp Plein, while his acting credits include a leading role in The Beautiful Grind New York and a memorable appearance as "Beach Man" in James Wan's film Furious 7. Rudy's versatility extends to music videos, having starred in one alongside Ariana Grande, as well as making notable appearances on popular television shows.

Deren Guler
Deren Guler is a researcher, designer and educator in the Technology and Art Certificate program at Columbia University Teacher's College. She is based in New York and has led projects and workshops around the world. Designing accessible tools to re-imagine the world motivates her work. Her work has been featured in the NYTimes, BBC, INDEX Design to Improve Life Awards and Wired, among others. She is the founder and CEO of Teknikio- an award-winning series of education technology toolsets, also lectures at Parsons School of Design and Teachers College, and is a co-founder of the FatcatFablab makerspace, and author of Crafting Wearables: Blending Technology with Fashion.
